On this special episode my guest is Kelly Lamb who is the #TeamReeve Manager at the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation. Please watch this video to learn more about this organisation and to find out why I was so happy when I heard the news that I would be interviewing Kelly.
kelly and I had a wonderful discussion about why the foundation means so much to her and hearing Kelly’s motivation for the charity events is why I love interviewing people. Discovering how she has ran six marathons and raised over $90,000 was heroic!
We talked about the foundation’s history, the changes they are making every day and the hope they have for the future. It was inspiring to listen to Kelly’s journey and to see how dedicated she is about the organisation. A true hero without a cape. In the future I would love to speak with more people from the foundation as they are all doing such wonderful work.
I can remember when this clip below aired in an episode of Smallville. At the time I had no idea that Christopher Reeve was going to be making some special appearances in my favourite show and his scenes are some of my most loved moments. Many know Christopher as Superman but as Kelly mentions in the interview, he was more than just an on screen hero. He is a real life hero.
