On the 25th of June I’m going to be travelling to london for an evening that will stay with me forever. Superman: The Movie is going to be projected inside the magnificent Royal Albert Hall while John Williams’ unforgettable score will be played simultaneously by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.
The man that will be in charge or conducting this event is Anthony Gabriele and he is my very special guest on this episode.
Anthony’s love for music and storytelling is such a joyous thing to listen to. Hearing about how he has prepared for this concert and the work that has gone into it is heroic.
We talked about John Williams’ many scores, his impact he has on movies and why the Superman soundtrack is so unique and powerful.
It was a joy to ask Anthony questions about how conducting a concert like this works and to find out what guests can expect to get out of this experience.
When you hear the passion and charm in Anthony’s answers you will see why he is the perfect person to conduct this very special event.
